Where my parents were raised

In East Texas’s Anderson County , a small city called Palestine, Texas still stands. The house in this picture no longer stands. All that stands are trees, fences and memories of going to school, getting on the bus that would often get stuck in the mud during the heavier rains,. Which meant the boys would have to get out and lift it out of the mud for the tires to find their traction.
Yes. The stories about the trees with the sweet cherries still remain with some laughs to follow as my mother and her sisters recall these days.
